It was a good thing I didn’t have a client on board, The air temp this morning started out at 27 degrees and the water started at 38.5 degrees and pretty clear. The fish just did not want to bite! I’ll admit it took me 2hrs before I got the first bite and fish, a nice 19″ smallmouth. However the cameras were not ready. One shut down just 10 seconds before the hit. Another one froze frame when I was releasing it back to the river. Then 3hrs into the trip all the camera batteries died and the cameraman used his phone to record the release of the next one. So I called it a day and we went in. It will be interesting to see if anything can be used with the film today. We did get some underwater action of a couple of the Adams musky lures but no musky.
