Had a couple of gents come up to try their hand at musky fishing today. The air was 27 degrees when we started and the water was 36 degrees and dark stained. I didn’t fish with them but when it got to about 1:00PM they had some lunch so I picked up a jigging rod and gave it a cast. felt a little weight and set the hook to a nice 23″ walleye, first cast. Had a photo taken and released the fish. I put my rod away and that was that. Lunch was over.
